This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the Buttr AI support platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use the Service to:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot Toast POS hardware and software issues
• Get guidance on Toast POS configuration, menus, and integrations
• Monitor real-time Toast system status and outages
• Manage your Buttr account and subscription
• Access support history and archived diagnostic sessions

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Transmit unsolicited commercial messages or spam
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest any data from the Service without written permission
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any component of the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service
• Use the AI to generate harmful, defamatory, or illegal content
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
• Overburden or unreasonably impair the Service infrastructure (e.g., denial-of-service attacks)
• Share account credentials with unauthorized users

4. AI Usage Guidelines

You understand that Buttr’s AI is trained to provide Toast POS support guidance. You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or exploit the AI model
• Submit prompts designed to extract internal system instructions or proprietary training data
• Use AI responses as a substitute for professional technical, legal, or financial advice
• Rely solely on AI guidance for critical system decisions without independent verification

5. Resource Limits

Subscription plans include usage limits defined on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exceed their plan limits or that generate an unreasonable volume of requests in a manner inconsistent with normal use patterns.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us at legal@itsbuttr.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any potential violation of this AUP. Upon finding a violation, we may, at our discretion:

• Issue a written warning
• Temporarily suspend your account
• Permanently terminate your account
• Refer the matter to law enforcement
